Quite a long bus ride today through the Taurus mountains and east to Urgup in Cappadocia. Along the way we stopped at Sultanhan a caravanserai on the medieval Silk Road. Some craftspeople were working in it, including a quilter.

When we arrived in Urgup we went to a Whirling Dervish ceremony. They don’t allow pictures during what is a religious rite but they did do some extra dancing afterwards for us to photograph or video. I took a video but can’t upload it to the blog.
