We returned to Istanbul today, the last day of our tour here. When we arrived we went on a boat trip on the Bosporus. It was quite windy but warm and sunny.
There are many old and new mansions along the waterfront.
as well as fine views of both Europe to Asia bridges.
and several palaces
and the old city of Constantinople
On the Asian side there is a gigantic new mosque built by the current President of Turkey.
Tonight we had a farewell dinner at the hotel and tomorrow we fly to Tel Aviv.
