Sight Seeing in Paris

Today we used our tickets on the hop-on hop-off bus to ride all over the city and enjoy its beauty. Then the one hour river cruise for a different point of view. The Parisians were really smart to cap buildings at six stories, it keeps the city from feeling claustrophobic under a forest of towers.

The damage to Notre Dame looks more extensive than I expected. They have shored up the flying buttresses with timbers as you can see.

At the end of the day we went to the Grevin wax museum. We didn’t recognize many of the French actors and pop artists but there were a few folks we took our pictures with.
